At 35-years old, Adomah’s deal expires at the end of the season raising question marks over his future in London.
The wing-back has proven a valuable asset for Mark Warburton’s side, however, and Charlie believes the club must look to keep the Englishman at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium beyond this campaign.
Charlie even went so far as to suggest he would personally deliver the new contract himself such is his desire to see Adomah remain with the club.
The QPR fan also praised not only his experience, but also the versatility that he has shown this season.
Adomah has added some new strings to his bow having tried his hand out wide as a wing-back, where he has flourished despite it not being his natural position.
“Print off a new contract, I’ll go pick it up and deliver it to him myself,” Charlie told Football League World.
“Albert Adomah needs to be offered a contract with Queens Park Rangers next season.
“He’s been tremendous this year.
“The versatility that we’ve seen from a 35-year old who’s been played in a position he’s never played in before in his career, playing at wing-back.
“He’s really grown defensively, and what he offers offensively is incomparable to some of the other options we have in the full-back positions.
“His passion, his desire, his love for the club, his willingness to run the extra yard and some of the flair he’s brought and the experience and the know-how, he’s been an invaluable member of this squad.
“Despite his age, he offers so much and for me he definitely needs to be offered a new contract with QPR for next season.”
Adomah has started 20 games for Warburton’s side this season, while coming off the bench a further nine times.
