'I'll drive him to the airport' - Man United fans ruthless after PSG and Paul Pogba news emerges

Manchester United fans have delivered a ruthless verdict following the news Paul Pogba could be a target for Paris Saint-Germain.

As reported by the Manchester Evening News , the French side have made an offer to the midfielder as he prepares to leave Old Trafford for a second time. Pogba is open to joining PSG, although he's understood to prefer a return to Juventus. Any chance of a move to Real Madrid looks slim, with the Spanish giants’ interest subsiding significantly following the departure of Zinedine Zidane.

Dressing room sources at United say Pogba is effectively ‘gone’ as he nears the expiration of his contract at the club. The 29-year-old attempted to engineer a transfer during the summer of 2019, but United didn’t receive an acceptable offer for the France international.

Pogba’s second spell at Old Trafford has been mixed, with the midfielder at times showing his obvious talent, although fans have been frustrated that they haven’t seen it often enough. The wrangling over a new contract, which fans have frequently called for the midfielder to sign, has also left a bitter taste in the mouths of many supporters.

And that looks to have been reflected in the reaction after the news broke of PSG’s approach. United fans now look happy to see Pogba leave the club this summer.

Pogba last week insisted he had not made a decision on his future, despite PSG’s approach. "Nothing is decided on my future, there is nothing done," Pogba said.

"I can decide tomorrow, as I can decide during the transfer window. I want to come back, finish the season well.
