"I have been told" - Sky Sports reporter now drops big Man Utd update on £50m star

Manchester United are willing to ‘listen to offers’ for Aaron Wan-Bissaka and his departure could result in the addition of a new right-back becoming a priority at Old Trafford, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.

The Red Devils have spent more than £65million on Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez ahead of the new season, but new boss Erik ten Hag has until September 1 to welcome further reinforcements.

Manchester United may have parted with £50million in order to sign Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace three years ago, but he appears to have an uncertain future at Old Trafford.

According to Sky Sports, Manchester United are open to offers for the 24-year-old ahead of the summer transfer deadline.

The report suggests the Red Devils are looking to offload Wan-Bissaka – who has made 126 appearances for the club – in a permanent deal, but they would also be open to negotiating a loan switch which includes an obligation to buy.

Although former employers Crystal Palace have considered making a move their academy graduate, a return to Selhurst Park has not come to fruition.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Manchester United are expecting offers to be forthcoming for Wan-Bissaka.

Sheth understands that Manchester United are not prioritising the arrival of a new right-back this summer.

However, the Sky Sports reporter feels that could change if Wan-Bissaka seals his Old Trafford departure.
