Biaggio Ali Walsh, grandson of legendary boxer Muhammad Ali, has signed a contract with MMA promotion Professional Fighters’ League.

24-year-old Ali Walsh has signed an amateur deal with the PFL with the view of turning professional in 2023. He will make his debut for the promotion this November.

The fighter, who previously played college football with the University of California, follows his brother in stepping into combat sport, with Nico Ali Walsh turning professional in boxing  last year, racking up six wins from six fights competing at middleweight.

‘I want to thank Professional Fighters League for their support and confidence in me,’ Ali Walsh said.

‘I can’t wait to enter the PFL SmartCage. I have a legacy to live up to, a legacy that my grandfather began, that my brother and I continue, I chose to continue that legacy here in the Professional Fighters League.

‘My one and only goal is to one day become a PFL World Champion.’

‘We are incredibly excited to welcome Biaggio Ali Walsh to the Professional Fighters League,” said PFL President of Fighter Operations Ray Sefo.
