I got one of Sephora's 'legendary' £1,100 VIP beauty goody bags at the Trafford Centre - here's every single product inside

Last night the highly-anticipated Sephora store opened its doors for the first time, giving VIPs, influencers and celebrities a first glimpse into what's inside. Sephora, which is a worldwide giant in the beauty game, felt like an obvious fit for the Trafford Centre as its first UK location outside of London given the city's prowess when it comes to looking good - highlighted best by Chanel choosing us as its location to present the 2023/24 Métiers d'art show last year.

I was lucky enough to get an invite to the sparkly opening, which allowed guests to browse the store before its public opening. As a beauty editor, I felt as though I'd just walked into paradise.

Every time I turned a corner, I was met with a beautifully laid out brand stand packed full of makeup, skincare and fragrance products - many of which aren't readily available on the high-street. But as I was browsing like a kid at Christmas looking in the Argos catalogue circa 1998, I began to hear whispers that we'd be getting one of Sephora's 'legendary' goody bags

Anyone who's anyone in the beauty scene knows that, when it comes to a goody bag, Sephora certainly knows how to do it, so I was full of anticipation as I walked to the till to grab mine. While collecting it, the friendly staff member asked 'are you leaving yet? Because if you're not, I'd advise holding off, as they're very heavy'.

Despite planning to hang around a little longer, I decided to take the plunge and collect mine anyway, to avoid lengthy queues later on in the night.
