I found the perfect £12 product for a flawless natural makeup look

When it comes to makeup I like to keep things pretty natural. A little concealer, blush and a touch of highlighter and I'm ready to call it a day.

Something I've gotten more into lately however is the look of a lip liner and gloss combination, the only issue is I hate how sticky lip gloss can be. Stray strands of hair sticking to your lips with the slightest breeze is hardly the confidence boost I look for from makeup.

Rodial's £29 Collagen lip oil has been my go to for the past month but I've seen rave reviews for Give Me Cosmetics Glazed Lip Oil and decided to see if they live up to the hype. With a £17 price difference is it possible they can be as good?

I got two shades, the clear So Original and the tinted Mocha Motive. I find nude or red shades work best with my complexion and I'm not sure I'm brave enough for a glossy red lip. There are quite a few pink shades available that I think would work well for those who reach for pink lip shades.

The oils come with a metal applicator that has a nice cooling sensation and is also easy to wipe clean which I liked a lot and the jojoba oil left my lips feeling soft later that night from just one application.

It doesn't feel sticky on but when there's a breeze a couple strands of hair definitely do stick in place. Unlike the Rodial oil there isn't a strong smell but honestly that could be a benefit based on if you like the smell of almond oil or not.

I expected to like So Original best but the pigment is subtle enough that I actually think Mocha Motive is my favourite. I paired the oils with Morphe's Honeymoon lip liner which is one of my go to's as it's not too much darker than my natural lip and gives a natural look. I also added a little bit of Becca's Champagne Pop
