I found a way to avoid queuing more than 5 minutes for any ride at Alton Towers

As an adrenaline junkie, I love a good theme park. There are plenty of options to choose from in the UK, such as Thorpe Park and Drayton Manor.

But living in Manchester the most easily accessible and closest big one to get to is Alton Towers. While Alton Towers has some of the biggest and best rides in the UK, it can also come with lengthy queues if you go on a busy day.

I always think it's worth investing in a queue-jumping Fast Track ticket when visiting the theme park, if you want to make the most of what it has to offer. But what I didn't realise, until my most recent visit, was that they're now offering something far superior - and it will make you feel like a real celebrity for the day.

In recent months, Alton Towers launched its VIP packages. And when they say VIP, they mean it. There are two types of VIP packages available - the standard VIP package, which starts at £155 per person, and the Platinum VIP package, which starts at £320 per person.

The standard package includes Theme Park Entry, Express Car Parking, Silver Fastrack, VIP Merchandise and an Unlimited Digital Photo Pass. But if you really want to feel like a Hollywood star, I'd recommend opting for the Platinum, which includes Theme Park Entry, Express Car Parking, Platinum Fastrack,VIP Host, Freestyle Vessel, VIP Merch, Unlimited Digital Photo Pass, Meal Voucher and a Personal Welcome Letter.
