'I don't like to see that rubbish' - Roy Keane slams Manchester United players' half-time antics

Roy Keane was critical of Manchester United's players "laughing and joking" before the second half of their thrashing at the hands of Liverpool on Sunday.

United were dominated at Anfield in their Premier League clash, with Jurgen Klopp's side scoring six times in the second half to secure a 7-0 rout over the Reds. Three Liverpool players grabbed two goals in the game - Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez - while Roberto Firmino scored the seventh and final goal.

With the Merseyside club only 1-0 up at the half-time break, United were expected to come out and have a go at the home side in the second period. However, Erik ten Hag's side were shocking in the second half and were dominated by Liverpool right until the final whistle.

After the game, Reds legend Keane admitted that he was annoyed by the actions of some United players in the tunnel as they prepared to enter the pitch for the second half.

"I see one or two players come out in the second half having a laugh and a joke," Keane said on Sky Sports. "They're 1-0 down at Anfield and they're having a laugh and a joke with the Anfield staff, the goalkeeping coach. I don't like to see that rubbish. Do not like to see it."

"You look at half time, there's a couple of players having a laugh and a joke, you're 1-0 down at Anfield, you're here to work. This is serious business, this is big boy stuff, forget this laughing and joking rubbish. Then you're talking about the second half and lads are throwing the towel in."
