Hurricane Ian: Triple H is 'very worried' about WWE SmackDown this week

Hurricane Ian is causing havoc in Flordia right now, with Triple H said to be “very worried” about WWE SmackDown tomorrow night as a result.

The hurricane has left two million people in Florida without power, with there also tragically being some loss of life due to the extreme weather conditions.

Obviously on a much less serious note, the hurricane has meant people cannot travel in or out of Florida right now, which is causing issues for WWE.

With the Performance Center being situated in Orlando, a lot of the WWE roster now lives in Florida, causing some issues right now.

Dave Meltzer is reporting that the extreme weather conditions, and the fact a lot of the roster live in Florida, is a cause of concern for WWE.

On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said that WWE is “very worried” that talent won’t be able to make the show tomorrow night, via WrestleTalk.

I know WWE’s very worried about Friday’s show because they have so many people from there. The hope was that it’ll be okay and people can get there from Tampa and Orlando to Winnipeg on Friday.

The report explains that the hope from within the company is that talent will be able to travel to Winnipeg for the show, but that’s no guarantee at this stage, and WWE could be left with a skeleton crew.

This was an issue that Tony Khan had to deal with too, with the AEW President announcing that the wrestlers on his roster only had to come to Dynamite if they felt it was safe to do show, with a lot missing the show last night.

During last week’s episode of SmackDown, WWE announced three matches that are, at least of right now, set to take place during tomorrow night’s show.
