Gareth Southgate talks to Channel 4. “We have to accept we didn’t do enough to win the game. I think a draw would have been a fair outcome. We had enough possession but were not incisive around the box. The result hinges on a decision which I think was harsh, but probably wasn’t going to be overturned. The forward made a meal of it, but away from home, sometimes you’re going to get those calls.
