Hundreds pack out Stevenson Square as flares let off ahead of England's Euro 2024 final match

Hundreds of football fans have packed out Stevenson Square in the city centre ahead of England's Euro 2024 final match against Spain.

Red smoke flares have been let off into the sky as huge crowds were seen chanting and jumping in excitement ahead of the match, which kicks off at 8pm in Berlin, Germany.

Hundreds in high spirits gathered at around 4pm and blocked the area, in the Northern Quarter, as anticipation for the game built. Fans were also seen burning Spanish flags to the popular 'sparked a fire' chant.
