Hundreds of homes in Bolton hit by power cut - full list of postcodes

Hundreds of homes and businesses in Bolton have been hit by a power cut this afternoon.

According to Electricity North West, 595 homes in the Kearsley area are currently without electricity due to the issue. Engineers are on the way to the scene.

Power is expected to be restored by around 3.45pm, the electricity provider said. A number of homes in the Farnworth area are also being affected by a power outage.

Around 76 properties are currently without electricity, with Electricity North West 'preparing to send a team'. Power is expected to be restored by 6.45pm.
