Hull KR squad news as Tony Smith welcomes back duo for Castleford Tigers clash

Hull KR boss Tony Smith has made two changes to his 21-man squad to take on Castleford Tigers on Friday night. will be hoping to reach the Challenge Cup semi-finals for the first time since 2015 with a win over Lee Radford’s men at Craven Park.

Jordan Abdull is fit to be involved after missing last week’s clash with Warrington Wolves due to an ear infection, while Will Dagger is included after overcoming the knee issue he picked up in the sixth round of the cup against Leigh Centurions. Dean Hadley has also been named in the squad and could be set to make his first appearance since the win over Salford Red Devils last month.

The forward has been struggling with a calf injury, but he’s been deemed fit enough to be named in the squad and he’ll be keen to take on his former head coach, Radford. Ethan Ryan and Tom Garratt are the two that have made way for the Robins.

There’s still no Albert Vete, who has a calf issue, while Luis Johnson (foot) and Brad Takairangi (stood down) remain sidelined.

Hull KR 21-man squad: Lachlan Coote, Ben Crooks, Shaun Kenny-Dowall, Ryan Hall, Jordan Abdull, Matt Parcell, George King, Dean Hadley, Kane Linnett, Matty Storton, Jez Litten, Korbin Sims, Elliot Minchella, Jimmy Keinhorst, Will Dagger, Mikey Lewis, Rowan Milnes, Will Maher, Sam Wood, Greg Richards , Frankie Halton.
