Hull KR show sign of intent amid coaching uncertainty as Elliot Minchella commits to four-year deal

Hull KR have provided a welcome piece of good news after a chaotic 24 hours by confirming that star player Elliot Minchella has signed a new four-year deal with the club. The forward, one of Rovers' top performers so far this season, has committed his long-term future to the club in a deal that will keep him at Sewell Group Craven Park until the end of 2026.

Minchella arrived at the club from Bradford Bulls ahead of the 2020 season and has established himself as one of the club's greatest signings in recent times, emerging as a key component in Rovers' rise under Tony Smith. It is the club's first significant piece of retention at a time when a large chunk of the squad is off-contract, with more new deals expected.

"I want to thank Tony for bringing me to the club, he was the one who gave me the opportunity to play Super League again. If it wasn’t for that I wouldn’t be here now. I’m looking forward to the future and
