Hull FC make two changes as team to play St Helens confirmed

Hull FC head coach Brett Hodgson has named his side to take on St Helens at the MKM Stadium. The Black and Whites return to their home turf following two weeks on the road at Toulouse and Huddersfield.

There are two changes to the side with Josh Simm and Jack Brown dropping out. Mitieli Vulikijapani and Jordan Johnstone are back in the fold.

Jack Walker starts at fullback, with Darnell McIntosh and Connor Wynne on the wings. The centre positions are occupied by Jake Connor and Vulikijapani.

Hull FC's challenges against St Helens laid out as execution must match recent effort level

The halves are once again Will Smith and Luke Gale, with Danny Houghton starting at hooker. Kane Evans has shaken off a knee scare to start alongside Scott Taylor at prop, with Ellis Longstaff and Jordan Lane in the back row positions. Brad Fash starts at loose forward.

The bench consists of Chris Satae, Matty Laidlaw, Joe Lovodua and Jordan Johnstone. The four to miss out from the 21-man-squad are Denive Balmforth, who will play for the Academy side away at Warrington this afternoon, Harvey Barron, Davy Litten and Ben McNamara.
