Hull City player ratings as Ozan Tufan strike earns spirited Tigers point at Burnley

Ozan Tufan's wonderful first-half goal saw Hull City earn a hugely creditable 1-1 draw at promotion favourites Burnley, to make it four games unbeaten at the start of a second-tier season for the first time since 1987/88 under Brian Horton.

The Turkish international's clinical strike 24 minutes in at Turf Moor gave Shota Arveladze's side the lead against another of last season's relegated Premier League clubs, before Jay Rodriguez's finish nine minutes later leveled it up after a swift counter-attack.

Despite coming under heavy pressure in the second half, Shota Arveladze's side defended for their lives to come away from Lancashire with a point in their pocket and back up Saturday's wonderful win over Norwich City, roared off their away supporters.

Arveladze named an unchanged side, perhaps unsurprisingly given the manner of Saturday's terrific win over Norwich City at the MKM Stadium, and Ryan Woods not yet available following his move from Birmingham City.

Burnley started on the front foot as you'd expect, but their willingness to play out from the back and put the ball at risk was giving City fair opportunities, so much so Oscar closed down Muric and the ball ricocheted into the lower tier.

An unfortunate slip from Figueiredo inside his box allowed Jay Rodriguez to chance his arm, only to be blocked by Matt Ingram and then Tetteh was booked 10 minutes in when he slipped but caught the lively Chelsea loanee Ian Maatsen on the left edge of the box, before Brownhill's free-kick sailed over the top.

City were in front 25 minutes in, somewhat against the run of play, not that City would be too concerned with that, when Figueiredo's clearance was headed on by Oscar for Ozan to run clear before executing a delicious finish
