Huge innovative PlayStation gaming event coming to Manchester for fans of The Last of Us and God of War
A brand new, innovative gaming experience is coming to Manchester next year that is sure to please fans of The Last of Us and God of War.
PlayStation The Concert will transport video game fans into an immersive and breath-taking world featuring multi-layered visuals and stunning music from some of the brand’s most beloved franchises.
Taking place at Co-op Live on April 22, 2025, the show will blend together classic and modern music from a number of top PlayStation games including Horizon and Ghost of Tsushima, which have become just as known for their soundtracks as they have their gameplay.

Organisers behind the event have said the four games set to be showcased in the ‘ground-breaking’ production ‘aren’t just titles’ and are ‘cultural touchstones that have reshaped the entertainment landscape’.
The special concert series will tour the UK and will kick off in Dublin on April 19. It will also head to Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow and London and is eventually set to be performed in 200 cities by the end of 2026. Tickets will go on sale here on Friday.
PlayStation released its first console back in 1994 and became the first video game console ever to sell more than 120 million units. Since then, it has released a number of new models, including the most recent PlayStation 5 in 2020.
In terms of titles featured in the upcoming show, God of War is the longest-standing franchise with its first game being released in 2005. The action-adventure game is based on ancient mythologies and follows Spartan warrior Kratos as he becomes the God of War. It's two most recent adaptations, released in 2018 and
