Huge free careers fair comes to Manchester featuring top companies

A huge careers fair is being held in Manchester, featuring representatives from a host of leading companies.

The UK Careers Fair is set to take place on Friday, August 18, at the Britannia Hotel on Portland Street, Manchester, from 10am to 2pm. It's free to attend and offers an 'unparalleled chance for job seekers to engage with local and national employers face-to-face', said organisers.

Job-seekers will be able to apply for hundreds of available vacancies.

Organisers said: "The Manchester Careers Fair will showcase a wide range of job roles and opportunities to suit diverse career paths.

"Attendees can explore entry-level positions, management roles, apprenticeships, graduate positions, franchise opportunities, part-time and full-time positions, flexible working options, and even work-from-home opportunities."

Some of the companies that will be exhibiting at the event include British Airways, Lidl, Arnold Clark, Optical Express and BAE Systems.

Representatives from HM Courts and Tribunal Service and Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust will also be present.

"The UK Careers Fair is the ultimate networking platform for both candidates and employers, with events taking place in over 60 locations across the UK, they added.

"Often referred to as a job fair, recruitment event, or careers fair, these events provide a space for companies and job seekers to connect and explore potential job opportunities. The events are open to everyone and completely free to attend."
