Huge emergency services response near hospital due to 'concern for welfare'
There was a huge emergency services presence near a hospital in Manchester this afternoon with a road closed off.
Pictures showed police officers, fire crews and paramedics at the scene on Grafton Street near the Manchester Royal Infirmary.
The road was cordoned off with a section of Oxford Road also been closed off, forcing bus services to divert, according to traffic alert service Inrix.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said emergency services were called to a 'concern for welfare' report.
The incident has 'safely concluded', they added.
It reopened at 1.30pm.

Grafton Street has now been reopened.

There is heavy traffic due to the closure between Upper Brook Street and Oxford Road.
