Huge crossbow and knives found on estate

Two huge crossbows and multiple knives were found by cops after cops were called to a 'public order incident' on an estate in Trafford.

Officers were called to the Sale West estate last night (Friday) after 'concerned members of the public' raised the alarm. A man was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence on Hurst Avenue.

Police searched a home and uncovered the weapons. The man was then further arrested on suspicion of possession of offensive weapons; and possession of a class B substance. Alongside the photos, an officer wrote: "Good evening. Tonight, officers have attended Hurst Avenue on the Sale West Estate in relation to a public order incident reported by concerned members of the community. "The male involved has been arrested for a public order related offence.
