Huddersfield Town predicted lineup vs Bristol City thrown into disarray by injury doubts

Huddersfield Town will be looking to keep their winning form going at the John Smith’s Stadium when Bristol City come to visit, but navigating through the Terriers’ various injury doubts makes it next to impossible to tell which way Carlos Corberan might go with his last teamsheet before the play-offs get under way.

Corberan said that journalists make mistakes with their predicted lineups while making a point about the proposal for VAR to be used in the play-offs, and we’re happy to concede that we’re almost certainly going to get this one wrong. Lewis O’Brien, Matty Pearson and Sorba Thomas are all ruled out of action, with Levi Colwill, Danel Sinani and Danny Ward all injury doubts too.

On top of that, Corberan has said he doesn’t think Tino Anjorin is ready to complete 90 minutes yet and said that while Josh Koroma has been back in training this week, it doesn’t necessarily mean he is going to be part of the starting lineup or even the squad.

Bristol City’s proclivity towards a 3-4-1-2 makes us think Town will go three at the back again, and if Colwill is unavailable that may mean Naby Sarr comes back in for Levi Colwill. With Tom Lees taking one of the other places in the back line, would leave Corberan a choice between Jonathan Hogg or Ollie Turton as the third
