Huddersfield Town player ratings as Danny Ward and Duane Holmes goals produce victory at Fulham
Dropped one early cross into the box but flawless thereafter, pulling off an especially good save to deny Fabio Carvalho and an even better one (somehow) to keep Aleksandar Mitrovic out.
Made a brilliant last-ditch challenge to deny Mitrovic a goal in the first half. Excellent in the air.
Like the rest of the Huddersfield Town back line, came into this game knowing there was no margin for error, and left practically none.
Everything we have come to expect from the unflappable centre-back in his 400th Championship appearance.
Back into the side after being benched for the visit from Sheffield United last weekend. Had perhaps his best game of the season with some excellent tackles and a big hand in Danny Ward's opener.
Got the better of a real wing battle with the talented Antonee Robinson and was canny in winning his side's penalty.
Another calm and mature performance in central midfield. Nodded clear everything that came his way.
Helped Town hold their shape well and a vital extra defender as and when required on the edge of the box. Superb in the second half.
Another returnee, in for Josh Koroma, and offered a great outlet on the left wing. A tad fortunate to see his penalty go in off Marek Rodak's foot, but hey, it still went in. Great defensive shift.
Kept at it superbly to score the opening goal after seeing his initial effort blocked. Great reading of the game to put himself in position to score.
Superb pressing from the front in what was effectively a centre-forward role and made a nuisance of himself in attack, linking play well up the left.
(for Holmes 75) – Brought fresh legs to the left flank to help see out the game, then moved right late on.
(for Ward 85) – Came on just after Fulham
