Howe outwits Guardiola to end Man City quadruple hopes but treble bid strengthened at Newcastle

Manchester City won't add a treble to their quadruple.

Pep Guardiola got a booking for arguing with Eddie Howe at St James' Park, and it was the Newcastle boss who saw his in-game changes come off rather than the City manager. Howe revitalised his side at half-time and their strong start to the second half was enough to beat a much-changed City side.
