How will you cope with rising energy bills this winter?

With bills already reaching high prices this year and more increases forecasted towards the end of the 2022, many people across the UK will be facing a struggle over the winter months.

Ofgem have already confirmed another rise in the price cap this October, with the Bank of England warning of a recession on top of this as well.

With financial pressures increasing and costs mounting for many households, we want to know how you are planning to tackle the rise in energy bills this winter.

The price cap currently sits at £1,971 after being set there in April, and analysts at energy experts Cornwall Insight expect it will rise to £3,582 in October as we head towards the winter months.

It's also been predicted that the price cap will then hit £4,266 in January, before rising to £4,427 next April as Ofgem warns that the price cap will be updated every three months.

While wholesale gas prices have gone up, in part effected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, energy companies have announced record breaking profits over the past few months while prices for consumers continue to rise for both household bills and petrol.
