How will Celtic vs Rangers Viaplay Cup final showdown play out? Monday Jury

KEITH JACKSON: Yeah, let’s start with an easy one! It’s almost impossible to call. Both sides are flying in confidence with momentum at their backs, quality players all over the pitch and tactically astute managers in the dugout. It could be a bit of a classic - and might very well go all the way to penalty kicks.

ANDREW NEWPORT: Neither side were at their best when they squared off at Ibrox last month but with Rangers facing a midfield injury crisis and Celtic in relentless form, a win for the Hoops seems the likeliest outcome.

CRAIG SWAN: Celtic have a better team and, if they turn up on full power, they will win. But if they don’t, as was the case at Ibrox last month, Rangers will collect the trophy.

MICHAEL GANNON: It should be a cracker between two sides who are bang in form. Celtic have been coasting of late but will need to be at their best at Hampden. They should just about have the edge though.

KEITH: They’re certainly picking up form at the right time but Livingston are still looking good for fourth place this season.

ANDREW:Lee Johnson’s team have responded in the best way possible since their Edinburgh derby disaster but there’s still a long way to go for a team who have failed to string consistent results together for most of the season. I’d say it’s still too early to be making any bold predictions.

CRAIG: Yes. Lee Johnson is slowly getting it together at Hibs and the steady improvements should continue in the weeks ahead.

MICHAEL: They should do. Hibs have come through their bad patch and should improve in the coming weeks. They have the depth to pull away from their rivals for fourth.

KEITH: No. The phrase ‘they’re too good to go down’ has been wrongly applied before where the Tannadice club is
