How Virat Kohli's Discipline, Never Give Up Attitude Inspired UPSC Third Place Holder

Star India batter Virat Kohli is one of the most popular athletes in the world, with more than 800 million followers across social media platforms. Apart from his unmatched batting skills, Kohli's fitness ethics also make him one of the most inspirational athletes in the world. In a viral video, Donuru Ananya Reddy, who secured third rank in UPSC CSE 2023 exams, has labelled Virat Kohli as an inspiration. "Virat Kohli, he is my favourite player and I think there's a kind of inspiration and never give up kind of attitude he has. The discipline and his work is a major takeaway from Virat Kohli, that's why he is inspiring," Ananya can be heard as saying in the viral video.

Meanwhile, Kohli is currently playing for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The former RCB captain has been in breathtaking form so far this season and tops the IPL 2024 scoring charts with 361 runs in seven matches.

He also has a century to his name in this season, which he scored against Rajasthan Royals, but his form hasn't been able to inspire RCB so far. They have lost seven of their first six games and occupy the bottom spot in the points table.

On RCB's poor start to the season, RCB Director of Cricket Mo Bobat said: "We're at halfway mark and not in a position where we want to be, we will look at every game as a knock out game. But the challenge is on us. We have to keep getting better. It's such a shame to get as close as we did and not get over the line."

In their next match, RCB will take on KKR at the Eden Gardens on Sunday.
