How to watch Sweden vs Belgium with TV channel and live stream for Women's Euro 2022 quarter-final

Leigh plays host to the latest Women’s Euro 2022 quarter-final this evening as Sweden and Belgium look to join England in the semi-finals.

The Lionesses booked their spot in the last four on Wednesday night, beating Spain in a dramatic encounter in Brighton. Manchester United’s Ella Toone and Bayern Munich-bound Georgia Stanway sent the hosts through, and they’ll be watching on with interest at events at the Leigh Sports Village this evening.

One of Sweden or Belgium will provide their opponents, with the two doing battle tonight. Ahead of kick-off though, there is a clear favourite to go through to meet the Lionesses.

Sweden are ranked second in FIFA’s world rankings, and will be heavy favourites for a place in the semi-finals. Having taken a silver medal at last year’s Olympics, they’ll be aiming to go one better and claim their first European Championship title since 1984.

Belgium though will be determined to upset the odds. Tessa Wullaert’s side managed to squeeze through the group stages thanks to a win over Italy in their final group game, just finishing ahead of Iceland.

They did though manage to get France sweating a bit during their encounter, eventually falling to a 2-1 defeat after riding their luck at times. Belgium will hope the luck is on their side this time as they look to cause a major upset.

The match kicks off on Friday, July 22 at 8pm (BST). It will be broadcast live on BBC Two from 7.30pm (BST).
