Defending champion Mark Allen will be aiming to defend his crown as the eagerly-anticipated Snooker Shoot Out gets underway this week.

The breathless event featuring a single-frame, shot-clock format has become a firm fan favourite and offers fast-paced action unlike anything else on the snooker calendar. It's snooker with a party atmosphere as fans prepare to make plenty of noise in Leicester over the next four days.

The Snooker Shoot Out kicks off on December 4, with the action running until December 7. The event will be staged at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester.
