How to watch Manchester United vs Brighton - TV channel, live stream, odds and early team news
Manchester United will be looking to make a winning start to the Erik ten Hag era when they welcome Brighton to Old Trafford for their 2022/23 Premier League opener on Sunday afternoon.
United, who were beaten 4-0 by Brighton in their most recent meeting back in May, will be determined to hit the ground running at the start of the campaign and get the Ten Hag era off to a flyer. The Dutchman, appointed as manager back in April, watched his side register three wins, two draws and a defeat from their six pre-season friendlies, meaning his side are fully prepared for the curtain raiser.
United, however, will enter the clash with Graham Potter's side without a win in three matches, with all three of their friendly victories having come in their opening three pre-season assignments. Nevertheless, pre-season featured plenty of positives for Ten Hag.

But pre-season counts for little once the competitive action gets underway, meaning Ten Hag will be looking to mark his first competitive game in charge with a victory. United won on the opening day last season and will be hoping history can repeat itself.
