How to watch Liverpool vs Celtic legends clash LIVE for free as Steven Gerrard set to make appearance in charity fixture

We've already seen Steven Gerrard take on a team of Rangers legends in the past - and now he looks set to complete the Old Firm double as Liverpool great line-up take on a Celtic XI this weekend

The former Reds star, who amassed 710 appearances in all competitions for his boyhood club, is simply regarded as one of the six-time Champions League winners' biggest legends and his return to Anfield is sure to see fans flock to see him look to roll back the years.

However, having managed Rangers for a three-year spell - which saw the Light Blues pick up their first Premiership title since tumbling down to the fourth tier - he is also considered a hero in the blue half of Glasgow. Facing a Celtic XI, it will be interesting to see how the former Gers boss fares with his playing boots on against the old enemy.

Gerrard took part in a Rangers legends XI whilst he was manager at Ibrox, taking on Liverpool for the first time in his career - albeit in an exhibition fashion.

The match has been organised by the LFC Foundation. A legend of both clubs, Kenny Dalglish will be managing the Liverpool side, and the game will kick-off on Saturday, with the game set to start at 3pm.

Tickets can be purchased for £27 for adults, £17 for over 65s and £7 for juniors for those wishing to attend the match.

But for fans who are unable to make the trip to Merseyside, you can stream the game live. This will be done on Liverpool's Facebook and YouTube channels.

You can also follow minute-by-minute coverage LIVE on Record Sport.
