England suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat against Hungary in their opening UEFA Nations League fixture against Hungary on Saturday evening and will hope to bounce back as they face old rivals Germany in Munich on Tuesday night.

The Three Lions have a tough group which also includes Italy and will take on Germany for the first time since their 2-0 win in the last-16 of last summer's European Championships. However, the Germans have undergone a change in leadership since then, with Champions League winner Hansi Flick taking over from Joachim Löw after last summer's disappointment.

Defeat for England would mean that they would face an uphill struggle to survive in their group with home fixtures at Wembley to come against European Champions Italy and their conquerors from the weekend, Hungary. Relegation in a competition which has been criticised by many, including Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne may not seem like a big deal but city teammate John Stones disagrees.
