How to watch Gareth Bale's LAFC debut on TV tonight and what time is kick-off

Gareth Bale is set to make his debut for new club Los Angeles FC on Sunday.

The Wales skipper ended months of speculation when he signed for the Los Angeles-based MLS club last month, and after an extended break away with his family following his international heroics with Wales, he is finally set to make his bow following a slight delay to paperwork around the deal.

Manager Steve Cherundolo wasn't giving anything away in terms of team selection ahead of the clash with Nashville tonight, with fellow glamour recruit Giorgio Chiellini also in line to play some part. But one would suspect they'll see some minutes at some point.

“Anybody who travels is ready to get minutes,” he said. “So, how probable it is? We’ll have to see. The game will dictate that, as well as the coaches. But both are in a good spot to contribute to the group.”

If you want to catch the game, this is what you'll need to know...

Well, this is where it gets a bit tricky for UK-based Bale enthusiasts.

The 2022 MLS regular season match between Nashville SC and Los Angeles FC kicks off at 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee, on Sunday, July 17, 2022.

In the UK that's at an eye-rubbing on Monday.

Sky Sports have the rights for MLS in the UK and are showing the game on Sky Sports Football at 1.30am. You can also stream the match on the Sky Go app.

The Wales attacker, who turned 33 on Saturday, was given a warm welcome by supporters on the west coast at the derby match he attended against LA Galaxy last week.

Bale led supporters with an on-pitch chant with a megaphone following their win in El Trafico, as the game is dubbed.
