How to watch Champions League Final for free as Liverpool and Real Madrid set for glory night

If European football indeed had an elite league, Liverpool and Real Madrid would certainly be among the teams battling for top spot.

But the sides will need to settle for a one game clash to determine who truly are the "Kings of Europe" this year.

Jurgen Klopp's men take on the La Liga title winners in the Champions League Final this Saturday evening - May 28.

The Spaniards have lifted that all so special trophy a record 13 times, winning the first five years of the competition from 1956 to 1960, and completing another glory period by taking the silverware home to Madrid four times in fives years between 2014 and 2018.

And their last triumph can at Liverpool's expense.

The Olympic National Sports Complex in Ukraine hosted the 2018 showdown where real defeated Klopp's team 3-1 - a game remembered for Mohamed Salah's heartbreaking injury and Gareth Bale's jaw-dropping overhead kick.

The Reds will be looking to get their own back this weekend as the sides travel to France to play the final 90 minutes - or potentially more - of their season.
