How much Leicester City paid to agents in the last year revealed
Leicester City spent more than £12m on agents fees from February 1 to January 31 this year according to new figures released by the Football Association.
As part of a bid to be more transparent over transfer dealings, the FA have released documents that show just how much was forked out on intermediaries over the last year.
The Foxes spent £12,046,495 on intermediaries in 25 transactions that took place, deals which included the permanent transfers of Boubakary Soumare from Lille in a deal that was thought to be worth around £17m.
Also included is the arrival of Patson Daka from RB Salzburg last summer in a deal that cost a reported £22m while Jannik Vestergaard's £15m move from Southampton .
Leicester's outlay on agents pales into comparison to the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City who made up the top four spenders.
Manchester City spent a whopping £35m on intermediaries and were closely followed by United who forked out nearly £30m while Chelsea were just behind them.
Liverpool spent £22m while Arsenal spent more than £18m. Bottom of the table when it came to agent spending was newly-promoted Brentford who spent just £3.5m.
