How many episodes is Drive to Survive season 4 on Netflix and what to expect from the new series

Drive to Survive's Season 4 came out on March 11 and fans are already binge-watching the popular Netflix series that takes an inside look into the luxurious sport of Formula 1. Episode one sets the drama for the series entitled 'Clash of the Titans' as it documents the first chequered flag of the first race.

Netflix viewers see a recap of the previous season as drivers and team bosses summarise their racing achievements in that year. Lewis Hamilton summarises his year as one "like no other" possibly hinting at the disappointing result of the 2021 championship.

As Hamilton took home the most wins of any other driver in history, it's clear tensions were high on the race track. As the gloves come off, new racing teams are given the opportunity to drive to survive in the championship.

The season will fill its typical 10-episode quota but arguably there is a lot more drama this year. As young and upcoming drivers steal the show, drivers are competing for their seats.

As Mercedes took the stronghold over all of the competition, viewers see principal of Red Bull, Christian Horner, talk about his desire for the win. Drivers sit down for interviews, including the three new drivers.

Fans can expect the drama of F1 documented perfectly as Mercedes were the expected favourite to win last season but as the final race intensified it was not one they would bring home. As Lewis expects the younger drivers to come up and challenge him, fans will be expecting the documentary to showcase this too.

The documentary also hints at the team principals playing politics. McLaren go for the bronze position, while hinting that Ferrari will be a strong competitor.
