How Manchester United should line up vs Leicester City in Ruud van Nistelrooy's first game in charge
Ruud van Nistelrooy will be hoping to make a winning start to life as caretaker manager when Manchester United take on Leicester City in the Carabao Cup fourth round at Old Trafford tonight.
The former striker was installed as the club's interim boss on Monday following the exit of Erik ten Hag. The latter was sacked less than 24 hours after Sunday's 2-1 defeat to West Ham United at the London Stadium.
Until a permanent successor, which is looking increasingly likely to be Sporting Lisbon boss Ruben Amorim, is appointed, Van Nistelrooy will be tasked with trying to improve the club's fortunes, starting with tonight's visit of the Foxes.

Regarding the team news, United are not expected to welcome back anybody back that missed the defeat in the capital three days ago, meaning Van Nistelrooy is poised to select from the same pool of players that were available at the weekend.
