How Manchester United should line up vs Atletico Madrid in Champions League fixture
Manchester United play Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium on Wednesday night.
United take on the La Liga champions away in Spain in the first leg of the Round of 16 in the Champions League.
Ralf Rangnick's side head into the game on the back of a 4-2 win against Leeds at the weekend. United threw away their two-goal advantage in that match at Elland Road but showed admirable character to bounce back from that second half setback.
Rangnick drew plaudits after the game for the introduction of Fred and Anthony Elanga, who both scored goals from the bench.
Although Atletico Madrid won La Liga last season, they've struggled for form this term and sit fifth in the league table.

Diogo Dalot and Raphael Varane should come back in, however commendably Victor Lindelof did at Leeds. Varane is a multiple Champions League-winning defender with immense experience of Madrid derbies, so it would be illogical to bench him again.
Fred should be recalled but not at the expense of Paul Pogba. When Pogba drifted to the left at Leeds, things started to happen for United and he played his best football off the left last year.
Jadon Sancho favours that side but was also influential from the right at Leeds. It is worth trialling him and Pogba after Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Elanga underwhelmed as starters with Sancho over the last month.

Lindelof will feel aggrieved to be dropped to the bench here, but Varane is made for these occasions. Dalot should regain his starting place at right-back - his proactiveness will be needed - after Wan-Bissaka failed to make a case to start against Leeds.
