How Luke McCowan can be Celtic star with a difference as Odsonne Edouard facing loan limbo - Parkhead bulletin

Luke McCowan has been told he's got it all - but there's objective he needs to start chipping away at if he really wants to be something different at Celtic.

Brendan Rodgers swooped to land the midfielder from Dundee for £1million as part of a big spending summer transfer window that included an £11m deal for Arne Engels, £9m-plus for Adam Idah's permanent move and £6m for defender Auston Trusty. The champions' midfield is arguably their strongest area of the park with competition for the three starting positions fierce. Skipper Callum McGregor is a guarantee and the likes of Reo Hatate, Paulo Bernardo and the record signing Belgian all in contention.

McCowan has shown what he can offer when called upon and once again in a chance from the start showed his qualities in the thumping win over Ross County by not only scoring but bagging three assists in the 5-0 romp.
