Liverpool fans are in dreamland as Jurgen Klopp extended his stay on Merseyside until 2026.

The German's long-term future was up in the air and it was widely thought that he would leave the Reds sooner rather than later as he continually hinted there was an expiry date on his time at Anfield.

But the former Borussia Dortmund boss signed an extension out of the blue that will keep him at the club until 2026.

Liverpool, who have a chance of sealing a historic quadruple this season, are not only in great shape in the short-term, but have a bright future ahead of them with Klopp at the helm for at least another four years.
