How hot it will be where you live in Greater Manchester on Friday, Saturday and Sunday?

There's a clear north/south divide when it comes to the weather this weekend. And for once we're on the right side of it.

While the south of England will experience an unsettled few days, with weather warnings and the odd burst of heavy rain, the north, including Greater Manchester, is set for a warm, dry and sunny weekend.

And tomorrow (Friday) looks like the best of it, with temperatures in Manchester forecast to hit 25C.

Met Office Chief Meteorologist Jason Kelly explained: "Repeated areas of rain are likely to affect southern Britain over the next few days, generating some localised impacts into the weekend. We currently have yellow weather warnings for rain in place, and it's likely we will be issuing further warnings across the weekend.

"It's a different story to the north of the UK though, as high pressure brings warmer and sunnier conditions, with higher-than-average temperatures, particularly across parts of western Scotland. Eastern areas are likely to be cooler and at times, cloudier due to winds blowing off the North Sea."

Here's the weather forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday for all 10 boroughs in Greater Manchester...

Bolton

Friday will be sunny changing to partly cloudy by night-time, with highs of 25C. Saturday looks a bit cooler and cloudier, with temperatures reaching 22C and it's a similar story on Sunday with a forecast of cloud and 20C.

Bury

The forecast is for sunny intervals and temperatures of 24C on Friday. Saturday also looks warm and sunny, with highs of 22C, but it starts to cool down on Sunday and there's a chance of light rain by late morning.
