How Antony celebrated Manchester United reaching FA Cup final after Brighton win
Manchester United attacker Antony has revealed he ran to the stands at Wembley to celebrate with his mother after the Reds defeated Brighton on penalties to reach the FA Cup final.
After a goalless 120 minutes in London, the semi-final tie went to penalties. It was Erik ten Hag's men who came out on top - winning 7-6 in the shootout. Victor Lindelof scored the decisive penalty for United after Brighton ace Solly March missed his spot-kick.
The result means United will be back at Wembley for their second final of the season in June having already won the Carabao Cup final in February. The Reds will face off against Manchester City on June 3 in what will be the first-ever Manchester derby in a domestic cup final.

Antony - who was substituted before extra-time - has since explained how he celebrated the semi-final triumph, with the Brazilian winger making a beeline for his mother, who was watching from the stands.

"It always gives you an extra thrill and excitement when you see your mother. I look at her and see everything we've been through, all the difficulties, and today her being present in those moments is very important to me.
He added: ''She in the stands, in the stadium, makes me even more excited. She has been at my house for a few days now. I am happy. I told her that when she's there, I feel safe.
