How and when Man City can win Premier League title after Arsenal lose against Brighton

Manchester City took a major step towards the Premier League title on Sunday afternoon, opening up a four-point gap between themselves and Arsenal with just two games for the Gunners to make the deficit up.

Pep Guardiola's side came away from their potential banana skin clash at Everton with three points, Erling Haaland's header sandwiched between an Ilkay Gundogan brace enough for a 3-0 win.

Arsenal hosted Brighton shortly after, falling to a crushing 3-0 defeat at the Emirates. It was a day in which everything went City's way, with the Blues closing in on a fifth Premier League title in six seasons, which could be confirmed next weekend.

RATINGS: Gundogan and Walker excellent in win vs Everton

Three points for the Gunners would see City needing a win against the Blues to call themselves champions. Whatever happens in Pep Guardiola's side's game on Sunday, they need a maximum of three points from their last three matches to earn a fifth crown in six seasons.
