Horror on Wythenshawe street as man stabbed to death yards from where kids walk to school
Neighbours have spoken of their horror after a man was stabbed to death yards away from where children walk to school every morning. Forensics swarmed the scene on Whitburn Road in Wythenshawe this morning (Thursday, December 5) after the 47-year-old was knifed.
Parents and pupils who use the path as a shortcut on the school run had to take the long way round as CSI specialists examined the scene. Police put a cordon around the cul-de-sac and cut-through on Wednesday night.
No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing. Officers have been present at the scene since around 8pm Wednesday.
