Horrific video footage has shown the moment a mass brawl involving school children broke out on a street in Bury on Wednesday afternoon (January 22).
The scrap erupted on Poplar Lane, near to the Hazel Wood High School, at around 3.30pm. Footage shared with the Manchester Evening News showed a large group of youths, thought to have involved students, becoming involved in the disturbance.

One parent, who reached out to the M.E.N, said: "I was told via my child that two boys were set upon by more than ten other students. It happened at around 3.30pm.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed they were called to reports of a fight at around 3.25pm but that groups had dispersed by the time officers arrived. Enquiries are ongoing.
