Horrific video shows moment boy, 14, is mauled by vicious dog in Bolton park as police hunt owners

Horrific footage has revealed the moment a teenage boy was viciously mauled by a dog in a park in Bolton. The teenager was set upon by the dog as he walked home through Queen's Park on Monday afternoon (October 28).

A police investigation is underway with officers currently attempting to track the dog and its owners after the attack. The victim, who is scared of dogs, was left with a 'hole' in his arm that was gushing with blood, but has since been plastered up at hospital.

His brother, Kashif Khan, has claimed that after the victim managed to escape, the owners managed to attach a leash to the dog before quickly making off.

"The owner came and as soon as it let go of him, he ran away. The owners didn't help or call the ambulance or anything, they just ran off. They didn't even ask if he was okay.

"He went straight to hospital and my cousin called the police. He had a hole in his arm that was bleeding which the paramedics have plastered up. He's OK now but was very shaken up and shocked.

"Luckily it was just his arm and not his neck - it could've been so much more horrendous. It could have killed him. What else can you do in that situation? It's shocking. They just ran away like they didn't care.

"When we were kids we would go
