Home Bargains £3.99 perfume spray is 'just like' £35 Sol De Janeiro

Home Bargains is selling a perfume for just £3.99 that shoppers say smells exactly like the high-end brand Sol De Janeiro. The budget-friendly Glow Perfume Mist range has been praised on social media for its similarity to the pricier scent.

The perfume comes in three different fragrances: vanilla almond and salted caramel, pink lychee and crystal waters, and cherry bomb and jasmine blooms.

On the Facebook group Home Bargains Appreciation Society, one shopper said: "At long last. Before anyone jumps on saying it's not the same as Sol De Janeiro, please don't bother."

"It's £3.99, compared to £28, of course it isn't the same. But it smells very similar, in my opinion. I have the original and only use it on occasion due to price. So for everyday use, this will definitely do."

The post attracted hundreds of comments from other group members, reports the Liverpool Echo.

One user said: "My daughters got the original one. And I have got this one and it smells just the same."

Another added: "Totally agree. I have original and yes it's slightly different but still good."

Home Bargains says the spray "will leave you with a beautiful glowing feel and look, both inside and out."

The store added: "Every Glow product has been individually developed, with enhanced performance to boost your confidence."

The £3.99 perfume mist is being compared to the fancy Sol De Janeiro brand. You can buy different sizes of the spray at Boots for £22 or £35.

They have lovely smells like Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 68, Cheirosa 62 and Cheirosa 40.
