Holly Willoughby says 'and just like that' she marks This Morning return early and fans react

Holly Willoughby marked her return to This Morning earlier than she was seen back on screen as she returned to her pre-show tradition. The presenter hasn't been seen on the programme for several weeks as she headed off to enjoy her annual summer holiday.

Her temporary break from the ITV daytime show, which happens every year, came at a challenging time for Holly as she co-hosted alongside a number of different members of the 'This Morning family' following Phillip Schofield's shock exit.

The broadcaster, who presented the programme for more than 20 years, initially 'stepped back' from the show due to reports about his off-screen relationship with Holly was in tatters before officially having to leave ITV altogether over the affair revelation.

However, Phillip soon saw his celebrated TV career shattered in May after he confessed to lying to bosses and co-star Holly about an 'unwise but not illegal' affair with a runner in his 20s.

But after last being seen on screens in early July, Holly is back on This Morning and has been joined by Alison Hammond to kick off the fresh run of shows which will see her at the forefront as the main presenter with guest presenters joining her across the weeks.

"And just like that… it’s back to school…" Holly typed to her millions of Instagram fans as she posed backstage for her usual pre-show ritual in which she lets her fans and viewers know exactly what she's wearing and where they can get their hands on it.
