Holly Willoughby ignores Phillip Schofield's TV return as she sends 'please' message to fans
Holly Willoughby was seen ignoring Phillip Schofield's return to screens as she headed out to support a friend. The former This Morning star took to social media with an update on what she was up to on the same evening her former co-star marked his TV return.
Phillip is seen sharing his side of the story for the first time in the three-part series 'Phillip Schofield: Cast Away' which started on Monday night (September 30).
The Channel 5 programme sees the 62-year-old marooned on a tropical island off the coast of Madagascar with a handful of cameras for 10 days in what is his first appearance on TV since leaving ITV in May 2023 after he admitted to an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger male colleague.

In the programme, Phillip says he believes he was unfairly treated by certain people amid his departure from ITV last year. He is also heard as saying about his lost broadcasting career: "I miss parts of being on TV, certainly. I miss most of it, if I’m honest, I miss most of it.
"But there are bits that I really, really, really don’t miss. You learn a lot about people, I don’t miss that. When you throw someone under a bus, you’ve got to have a really good reason to do it. It is inconceivable that I would quit. I don’t quit. I’m fired. But I never quit."
He also appears to mock the moment former co-host Holly brought up the subject of his departure on This Morning', as she opened the show, before her own exit in October the same year, with the question "Are you OK?" to viewers.
In the moment at the start of Cast Away, Phillip is seen having a family barbecue with his wife Stephanie Lowe
