Holly Willoughby and Rylan Clark are among the This Morning stars sharing their shock and sadness at the death of their 'delightful' young co-star. The ITV show confirmed on Sunday (September 10) that Matty Lock, whose passion for vacuum cleaners, saw him present segments on the programme, had tragically passed away.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the politician, campaigner and television presenter died suddenly. Labour's deputy leader Angela Rayner is amongst the hundreds of people to have shared their shock and sadness at the news that Matthew Lock - known as Matty - had died.
The 19-year-old often presented parts of the popular daytime programme with the show's hosts on the best gizmos and gadgets after testing them out for himself. His last appearance was in July when he joined Holly and co-host Craig Doyle to tell viewers the best fans for the summer months.

Taking to Facebook and Instagram on Sunday (September 10), This Morning confirmed the news of Matty's tragic passing. Sharing a picture of the teen laughing away during an appearance on the popular programme, a message read: "Everyone at This Morning is shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Matty Lock, aged just 19.
"He was a delightful young man, a joy to work with and his passion for vacuum cleaners and general mechanics was infectious. His family came to the studio and they were so proud that he’d turned a childhood hobby into a career." They rounded off the message: "We will miss him and send our condolences to his family."
