Hogwarts Legacy Minimum PC Specs: What Are They?

Hogwarts Legacy is one of the most anticipated games of the year, but what are the minimum PC specifications that players will need to know before purchasing/downloading?

The new Portkey Games release is set to hit shelves next year on February 10th, 2023.

We have had a preview of what the game will look like when it finally releases, with players set to be given the opportunity to explore the world of Hogwarts in an open-world RPG, which may well become one of the biggest gaming hits of 2023.

It will be set in the 1800s, so we aren’t going to see the likes of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger in the game.

However, there will be a wide-ranging story that sees you explore Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and the Forbidden Forest.

Of course, you’ll also be placed into a house by the sorting hat, putting you in either Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Slytherin or Ravenclaw.

And the game’s Steam page has now been updated so players know exactly what the specs are for the new release on PC.

This means the game will run at 1080p, 60fps, and will also be on low settings.

As noted by PC Gamer, the GTX 1070 minimum requirement is the same as Elden Ring, which is a major beast of an RPG.

It remains to be seen how the game will perform on either upscale rigs or those that are being pushed to the limit.

But one has to say that the specs are actually pretty reasonable for a AAA game that is going to be downloaded by millions of players across the globe.
